Working in different styles, hyperrealism is present in a large portion of his compositions. Alfaro's figurative pieces are created using oils on canvas.

“To create my work I usually use photographic references, I always change elements to the photography, inserting other images and colors until I achieve a sketch that is useful for me to start working on a painting.

I have series of paintings that are with acrylics and others with oil, I use brushes and I really like wide brushes also to make painting effects, I use spatulas to make textures.”
